A few weeks ago, my Ph.D. advisor (and first Forest Watershed Hydrology professor) emailed me about a special issue of a peer reviewed journal that is soliciting contributions from research and observatory catchments. I completed my Ph.D. research at the University of Kentucky's research forest, so we have some data that would be perfect for this special issue. I thought I would blog about what this whole process is like, so that you, ENVL student, could get an idea of how this works.

This is a picture of me doing some research in my Ph.D. years.
